Since 1988 March has been designated Women’s History Month in the United States. Which really is not that far back, I was three years old that year. So, let’s keep in mind how important it is to honor the celebration and keep it alive year after year.
March 8 we celebrated International Women’s Day.
This week on MostlyMellen I’m sharing a bit {more} of women-spiration with ya, since as you all know this is an area where Mellen likes to delve.
For Monday, Meet Jane Mosbacher Morris. I’m proud to say she’s a fellow Lexingtonian, although originally from Texas.
Please read her bio, which is quite inspiring indeed, and be amazed at her experiences.
Then, let’s get shopping!
yummie!
To The Market (TTM) should be our go-to for new spring styles, wedding gifts, baby shower treats, and home decor. Why? Because Jane is making sure to partner with truly outstanding companies offering well made, stylish goods that better lives on a daily basis. All of the purchases are survivor made goods, made exclusively by proud and passionate artisans who have overcome the perils of abuse, conflict, and disease.
I want to be this chic on the left in her elegantly casual cashmere scarf
As women, we hold a great deal of power to make an impact based on where we spend our money. Commit to supporting these women with your purchases. I have!
